Updating IE Beta 8 again

January 29, 2009 · Filed Under Uncategorized-Others · Comment

Even if laptop is already having an IE beta 8, I still updated it yesterday. I seldom use IE for my favorite browser is FF. But, IE is the default thing for my email, so it’s best to update it again since I got a Windows update alert. Well, one of the benefits in update IE browser or any browsers is to prevent spam emails and other bad things that will infect the computer’s system. And with my update, I got less spam emails. (Thanks God!)

Enabling comment on every post

January 27, 2009 · Filed Under Thoughts, Tips · Comment

Enabling comment on every post with WP blog is kind of convenient thing to have rather than having a chat box. And oh, this is just for me. I don’t know if this is your choice also. I formerly have lots of chat box in all of my sites early last year but I’m tired of it. So, I prefer to have a comment since I can moderate it and can somehow edit certain words or even erase it if I don’t like.

With WP blogs, all of the comments will just be placed in comment section on the dashboard. But when I approved certain commenter and then that person will send another comment, it will automatically show up on a particular post. So, with this, I need to check and visit my WP blogs almost every day.

I like this particular feature of WP platform. And oh, I can somehow close comment on other articles if I want to. This feature is very much different from the other blogging platform that I used to love and used to have last year.

Not earning w/ my domain parking – so sad

January 22, 2009 · Filed Under Money Making Online (MMO) · 1 Comment

Domain parking is the same as pay per click things. The only difference is that you need to have domains which you will use to park in some domain parking companies. For me, I used to have 30 domains that I parked with this certain company hoping I could earn even if I’m just sleeping. The result is I have lots of visits with my domain but there are no earnings. Imagine, I started doing domain parking last November of 2008 and my earning is just less than 1 dollar with the 30 domains that I bought? My expenses for that portfolio is like almost 300 bucks since each domain cost me around 9 plus bucks each but I’m not earning anything with it. I read further that a person needs to promote the domains so as to have good potentials in earning big. But I don’t have funds anymore in promoting my domains. So, I right now, I will pull it out from that company and park it with another company hoping I will earn more. If I will not earn something for it this year, I guess, I will just have my domains expire since there is no such thing as keeping those things and I’m not earning with it. But as what they say, domain is like real estate in which the value will grow high depending with its extensions. Sigh! Right now, I’m still confused with it!

Computer for gaming, for surfing and a spare one

The desktop is compose of LG flat screen monitor and an assembled computer since he chose the parts of it for gaming purposes that cost him more than 1k bucks with Windows XP OS. The laptop is Compaq brand with Vista OS since it’s on sale for less than 500 bucks for the purpose of surfing over the internet. When he will get tired of playing games, for sure, there is no need for him to close the WOW game window. Instead, it will be easy for him to transfer to the laptop and surf for the latest news and check on friends photos. Now, he already has two computers for himself but he is still making another one with new flat screen monitor. His wife is asking for the purpose of building a new computer. He just answered it’s just a spare computer just in case the old ones will not function. Anyway, the monitor is just cheap like less than 150 bucks since it’s on sale and the brand is Hannspree. The wife just doesn’t know the total cost for the whole computer since he is buying the parts for it one by one (last year) in which he assembled it this year. And oh, the husband is testing the new Windows 7 OS for his newly built computer.

By the way, the husband is putting his computer parts together using the kitchen table. So, what the wife did, she cleaned the old computer table so that he will be comfy in testing his newly built computer using the real computer table and not the kitchen table. In that way, their family will be having a kitchen table again. Since there is no other place to put it, the wife just put the old computer table beside the kitchen table.
